Setup Package A: HR Set up

- Recruiting the right people for your business, at the right cost
- Creating your own bespoke contract of employment, disciplinary and grievance procedures and offering the opportunity to request other policies that are particularly relevant to your workplace
- Putting in place a simple induction process which covers your Health and Safety responsibilities
- Using our simple appraisal process to review performance and set objectives
- Developing clear, low cost training plans and records
- Dealing with problems: Guidance on managing short-term absence, poor time-keeping or attitude problems
- Ensuring that staff who leave the company are managed appropriately
You will also get 3 weeks of online support with our qualified HR Consultant who has over 20 years HR experience, the most recent 5 of these, being spent helping SMEs to resolve their HR issues.
Package A: HR Set up costs £397 plus VAT
Setup Package B: HR Set up ‘Done for you’
We will agree you requirements to enable us to provide you with all of your HR setup materials, solutions to your current Human Resources problems and provide support for a further month.
Initial 1 hour telephone consultation in which we will cover all aspects of HR, what you feel is important to you, who will manage the HR within your company in a way that will represent your style and approach to managing people. We will then agree the templates and work log and confirm this by email. The contents will vary for each client but will typically include:
- Contracts of Employment, Employee Handbook and all policies to become and remain fully compliant
- Job Description and Person Specification templates plus interview questions and tailored solutions for sourcing the right employees
- Tailored Induction Program along with an initial checklist and a more in-depth ongoing program
- Customised Appraisal Process including self appraisals and objective setting plans
- Training Framework including, how to set up an analysis of training needs, keeping training records and evaluating training
- Fit of purpose sickness and time keeping policies required for your business. For example, we are often asked for diversity policies
- Dismissal and Termination templates to ensure that you have all of the information to take the employee through the process and to finalise actions

Monthly Package A: HR Troubleshooter. What’s included?
- HR Audit to see what you already have in place and to ensure that any changes are made to ensure legal compliance.
- Ongoing review of your employment literature and templates in March and September to fit with employment law changes that take place each year in April and October.
- Email and telephone support for any HR advice – from recruiting someone to making a redundancy.
- A choice of over 200 HR templates delivered by email to save you time on research and solve your problems quickly.
- Reduced price on additional project work, such as appraisal training, redundancy and restructuring help or induction planning.
The total he total cost for the package and 3 weeks of support is just £397 plus VAT. Remember you receive 3 weeks of online support – worth several hundred pounds plus all the templates you need!

Monthly Package B: HR Manager. What’s included
For six key clients we can offer a special package. This package includes everything within the HR Troubleshooter package plus 5 hours support per month – could your business benefit from this extra help?
- Design all materials and training for new initiatives such as appraisal schemes, new apprselection interview training, disciplinary and grievance
- Carry out telephone interviews for you and/or sit in and conduct interviews for you – depending on your location.
- Develop job descriptions, and gain agreement from managers and employees.
- Provide all materials for redundancy programmes including scripts, letters and questions and answers – again we can manage consultations if you are not too far away from us.
- Policy development – write new HR policies for your business.
- Psychometric testing – provide testing and feedback for SHL tests – the actual test materials for candidates or employees would be an additional cost.
- Design and implement assessment or development centres.

Mentor your own internal HR team as any HR Manager would do! We hope that by the end of the 12 month agreement you will be in such a strong position that you will only need minimal support – from us or whoever you choose.
